How can you help increase the quality of traffic to my website?

What are the costs of Internet Marketing?

When done correctly, internet marketing can achieve the same, if not better, results than traditional marketing. More often that note it is more affordable than print, radio, and television advertising. Because there many methods to internet marketing, it is hard to put a cost on it. Once we know what your goals are, what services you need, and what results you want, we can quote a rate for you. Costs can range from $300 to tens of thousands per month based on your reach and the aggressiveness of your campaign.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for search engine optimization, the process of increasing your ranking on the major search engines in the “organic” or “natural” listings. Organic listings are the main list of results on any given search page. In SEO, you can optimize locally using geo-specific keywords, nationally using broad or niche keywords, or globally by optimizing your website for specific keywords for each country and language.

What kind of results can I expect?

This is a tricky question. Since every business is different and every SEO campaign is tailored to fit your needs, it is hard to predict results or return. What effective SEO will do is increase your ranking on major search engines organically and with correct keywords, you will see an increase of traffic and the quality of the traffic to your website resulting in increased conversion and leads.

How long does it take to get to page one?

This is a question almost everyone asks and there is no predetermined time frame for this.  Since there are so many moving parts (strength of your site, age of your site, competition of your keywords, and competitor websites) it is very hard to give out a time frame for which your keywords will reach page one. We can give you a ballpark estimate of a matter of months once we have completed our research. The time frame will be significantly different for local SEO, national SEO, global SEO. This is due to the fact that there are over 200 ranking factors that Google alone takes into consideration.

What does “mobile optimized” mean?

Being mobile optimized (mobile friendly, responsive design) is the ability for your website to be navigated easily on a mobile device, whether it be a smart phone or tablet. Also, in terms of SEO, your website needs to be optimized for map listings on Google, Yahoo, and Bing, as consumers are increasingly using their mobile devices to look for local businesses.

Do I need a custom website?

This is a personal preference. You can have anyone develop a website with the tools available today. You may need a custom site if you: want direct reflection of your brand online, want to convert more customers, want something unique, or want to own your online presence.

Do I own my website and content?

Any web development we create is owned by our customers. This includes the web pages, images, content, and domain name.

What is SEM or Search Engine Marketing?

SEM or search Engine Marketing is the process of using the search engine to market your website online. Many marketing companies will refer to PPC, Pay Per Click or Sponsored Ads as SEM; utilizing 2 or more search engine advertising platforms such as SEO and PPC is actually considered to be classified as SEM or Search Engine Marketing.

What is link building or inbound links? Why are they important?

Link building is the process of getting external websites to link back to your website. These links are important to Google as a ranking factor. The more quality websites linked back to you that are directly relevant to your industry, product, or service, the higher your placement on the search engines when running a SEO campaign.

Do you offer guarantees?

We do not. Guarantees are a marketing ploy that companies in our industry use to gather leads and business. Often times there are loopholes or they are targeting non-competitive keywords for the “easy win.” Any reputable internet marketing company that is a true SEO knows that there are so many unknowns with any campaign that putting guarantees out is simply not worth it. The only way to completely understand what will work for a campaign is to begin the campaign and collect results. Through this process of analyzing and adjusting, a campaign can and will begin to succeed. What you will see is an increase in the quality of traffic to your website that results in more leads.

Why is SEO ongoing?

SEO is an ongoing service because the days of doing only on-page SEO are gone. With the amount of web pages online, competition is fierce. With the sheer number of businesses doing SEO, it is important that you are constantly working on your own SEO and placement. Updating content, link building, and HTML code optimization throughout the year are essential to maintaining the placement of your website. Once you gain the ranking, you’ll have competitors that will take notice and try to compete. If you have no ongoing SEO, your ranking will soon slip.
